"KV4AA" St. Thomas QSL postcard mailed May 28 1947 by operator Dick Spenceley, a little cancel ink on front, small bottom corner crease, tape residue at top center & bottom center of back, small push-pin hole closes well. Mister Spenceley is important to the history of his hobby, partially credited with the concept of sponsored DXpeditions. $3.00 v

VIRGIN ISLANDS INTERNATIONAL AIRWAYS. Unused regular-size postcard showing its Douglas DC-3-201D (N102AP) at Miami Florida in January 1984, near mint. On June 7 1991 it made a forced landing in a sugar cane field near Puerto Plata-La Union Airport in the Dominican Republic; there were no fatalities, but the aircraft was written off. $10.00 addfv
