consistent with age, trivial corner wear. The Anchor Athletic Club was a
member of the Metropolitan Association of the Amateur Athletic Union.
Memorabilia from this small club it is very hard to find. We have seen one
letterhead from it, giving club headquarters at 506-508 Central Avenue,
Jersey City New Jersey. Their boathouse was, therefore, likely either on the Hudson River or a
reach of the Hackensack River. Possibly unique: no printed
caption, no photographer attribution, no publisher attribution. Sold but front
