Torgeisson" violet handstamp over signature on back of hand-made continental-size greeting card with a photo of the Swedish American Line RO/RO ship (as seen from a high vantage point, letters PAD in blue conspicuous on its hull, passing by the Sydney Opera House) on front. Torgeisson was obviously a ship officer from this usage; and these favors (mementos of meetings in distant ports) are treasured & hard to find. Constructed by Mitsubishi in 1979, this ship later became the Rimbaud for CGM. SOLD s(o)gn

New & old violet backstamps reflect changed GRT & NRT, which should help to date the card.
