"9H3JF" continental postcard showing the Grand Harbour from a high vantage point, converted to a QSL viewcard by writing in the front sky, used 1988 by operator Peer-Axell Kroeske (who was visiting from Satrup West Germany), one short internal crease from the top edge, other edge wear is trivial. $1.25 m
"9H3JR" continental shortwave (14 MHZ) QSL card used 1989, bilingual note on back apologizing for delay, mild upper edge wear, minor wear at 3 corners. Sender a member of DARC, SRJ, MARL & Club 77. $1.25 m

"Malta - Fishing Boats in Grand Harbour" post card mailed from a US military ship in the 1960's (cancel not completely legible), uneven edges as issued, light surface abrasions to front do not affect color. $1.75 mf
"MALTA FROM U.S.S. PITTSBURGH." Unused Azo real photo (triangles both ways) post card includes another military ship in the distance, fairly fresh & interesting. Probably when it was flagship for US Naval Forces in Europe. $15.00 ms
"Malta. H.M.S. St. Angelo." with a harbor scene that may not include the named British ship; black & white real photo postcard mailed JUL 13 1952 from the USS Salem while on the southern coast of France (Villefranche probably), small bottom corner creases miss the image, other corner & edge wear. $3.00 ms(m)-n

Steamer Gleneagles. "Il-vapur 'Gleneagles' li jidher fuq il-bolla tal-15c..." also captioned in English, continental postcard with color drawing of the ship, intended for used as a Malta maximum card for a 15-c stamp but not used as such, minor wear along top edge, otherwise fresh. Ship was registered to G. Golicher in 1884. Sold but still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (almost 2x original postcard area) 100-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. $1.50 s(g)m

"ZB1FA" shortwave (7 Mc) QSL card used 1961 by operator Robert 'Bob' Conway in the 235th Signal Squadron (previously known as Malta COMCAN Signal Squadron) of the British Army at Zonkor, good edges. We more commonly see the community name spelled Zonqor. $3.75 mm(b)
