PHILIPPINES AIRLINES. Unused continental postcard showing its DC-3 (RP-C148) at Manila in June 1976, excellent condition. Postcard sold. Still available for scholarly study & research as an enlarged (almost 2x original postcard area) 100-dpi scan in .jpg or .tif format. This interesting aircraft crashed & was buried in snow on top of the largest glacier in Europe. It was towed down & flown to Reykjavik Airport in Iceland, registered as TF-RVP, converted to passenger configuration & then sold to Iberia. This information is from the Icelandic Aviation Historical Society. $1.50 api#
